New Zealand 2004

In May of 2004 Jace traveled to New Zealand for his Juniors Abroad trip through George Fox. He spent three weeks starting in Christchurch (south island) and traveled by bus up to the north island eventually reaching Auckland.  Along the way, they made stops for things such as skydiving, paragliding, kayaking, hiking on a glacier, visiting the museum/research center that heads up (down?) trips to Antarctica (no, he didn't go to Antarctica - brrr....), observing students in action at a local elementary school, mountain biking, hosteling (is that a word?), partying it up at a Maori festival, eating meat pies (equivalent to USA's hamburgers), and seeing deer and a whole lot of sheep, to name just a few.  After NZ he flew west and spent a week in Australia. Man, sounds like such a boring trip...
